270 Cap Frame

Back by popular demand, Hoop Tech Products is re-introducing the original design 270 Cap Frame that was originally discontinued in 2020. The “Green 270” design was the “better mouse trap” of cap frames when introduced way back in 1997 and was a big hit with the embroidery industry at that time. With its bullet proof design and superior hold, a lot of these cap frames are still in use today.

The Green 270 cap frame was designed to work best with the ball caps that have a flatter bill profile due to the way the bill fits through the clamp top of the 270. The Green 270 holds the bill more upright and ridgid than the later model GEN2, which makes it better suited for use on machines with slimmer/thinner sewing head profiles. Due to the ridged top clamp design the 270 has an exceptional grip on the front panels of caps. At this time the Green 270 will fit only on Tajima machines and machines with Tajima clone cap drivers.

The Green 270 Cap Frames continued to have a loyal group of supporters and that’s why we are bringing the 270 design back.
