The Gen 2 Cap Frame was designed to make hooping the front of hats easier. This frame is light, has backing clips to secure stabilizer as well as a bill-retaining strap to accommodate different styles of hats. You can hoop structured, unstructured, visors and some bucket hats – all with proper bill alignment. Working together with the T-Bar Framing Gage, you will experience reduced flagging, needle breaks and air pockets while maintaining proper registration. 

The T-Bar Framing Gage is needed to get the full benefits of the Gen 2.

    Finally! I can do structured, unstructured, you name it. After debating whether to purchase or try some gimmick to embroider unstructured hats, boonies etc. I broke down and made the purchase. Well worth it in loss of headache alone. I have set aside my normal hat hoop and use only this now. It so easy and centering is no problem. Even seems to be smoother in the sew out on my Tajima.
